Giving Students the Resources They Need to Succeed

My Project

I have the great pleasure of getting to work in a school district that offers students 1:1 technology. Each of my students (7th, 8th, and 9th grade) has their own iPad checked out to them by the school. Unfortunately, the iPad isn't always the best tool when it comes to longer writing assignments. Students struggle to type essays and longer written responses when all they have access to is an onscreen keyboard.

With keyboards provided to students, students will find writing to be a much less stressful task.

Writing is already so difficult for the majority of my students as I have quite a number of students who speak English as a second language. Having access to something that will streamline the process, would benefit my students by making writing just a little bit less stressful.
