Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is a new, progressive school that believes in inclusion and dynamic ways to engage our students. I am one of the ICT teachers in the 7th grade. We are creating a school where our curriculum is discussion based and our students are free thinkers. We believe in experiences and sharing the outside world with our students. We do this through field trips and exposure to current events.
In a quote from Brian Tracy: “There are no limits to what you can accomplish, except limits you place on your own thinking.” I like to think of our school in this manner.
This is our first year with 8th graders and we can see what a wonderful impact our school has had, not only on our children, we can see our impact on the community.
My Project
I will be using this camera to show students images of what I am demonstrating and take images to place into the computer. It will make a difference because it will give both at- home, remote learners and in-school students a better view of what I am demonstrating.
This will come in handy during our cell diffusion experiments to show diffusion through the cell membrane and also to show the speed of diffusion as dye spreads in a class of water.
Giving my students the ability to see what is happening in real time and also create images to show a progression of steps.
