My students need a LCD projector that would enable them to use the online interactive activities that are part of the SFA Reading Roots Fast Track Phonics lessons.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Dryzal's classroom raised $513

My Students
Every day in our classroom is spent encouraging my learners to become readers, writers and mathematicians. The best teachers give their students roots and wings: roots to create a foundation, and wings to fly off and practice what has been taught them.
My first graders are eager and excited to learn.
They have so much love for learning and their excitement is contagious! Our class is one of seven first grades in our large, 800 plus student urban elementary school. Eighty-five percent of our students are living at or below the poverty level. Despite the challenges our students face, they are resilient and overcome adversity daily.
My Project
Through the use of a LCD projector, my students will be able to participate in a variety of on-line interactive activities that are part of our Success for All Reading Roots program. Activities include sound it out, stretch and read, vocabulary, shared reading of the stories and more. It will enable me to reach students with a variety of learning styles.
We will also be able to use the projector to take virtual field trips in Social Studies and Science classes, as well as do a variety of interactive Math lessons.
Donations to this project will improve my classroom by adding much needed technology, enable me to reach students with a variety of learning skills, and allow high poverty students access to technology on a new level.
