My Project
Thank you for considering our 7th-grade science class at SMS. In middle school, students can become shy and fearful of raising their hands. The whiteboards will allow me to have all the students write their answers and raise the whiteboards. This helps me see if the students understand the material as a whole. Writing on the personal whiteboard and raising it will also bring an element of movement and participation. This is a great way for shy students to participate without feeling embarrassed.
We often need tape for our engineering or art/science projects.
The books will help me select some pages from the books and make copies for everyone. Modeling and coloring are good ways to help 7th graders relate to the material. The more active projects the better at this age.
