My Project

I am a reading and math interventionist at a small rural school. I work with small groups of students from 1st grade to 5th grade. I would like to get reading toolkits in the hands of each of my students in order to provide my students with daily hands-on practice with phonemic awareness and phonics. I would like to make individual toolkits with mini whiteboards, phonics cubes, popits, and play dough. I already have mini mirrors, dry-erase markers, and erasers to go in these toolkits.

I believe that having a toolkit in each of my student's hands will help provide them with the hands-on learning they love and daily practice with phonics in order to develop strong early reading skills.
