My Students
Through our extensive work in our A-TEAM (Academically Thriving, Educated, Aspiring, Minority Males), we are creating great momentum with this group. Our test scores are getting better with our work with this group. We still need help getting them the tools they need to succeed in the classroom and now outside of it.
We are still in need of technology for these students who have no means of getting these tools.
We are seeking donations to help our overall cause of helping minority males become great men. Help us by giving them more tools to achieve greatness. We need better projectors for meetings with our kids.
All of our students are coming from backgrounds of high poverty with mostly single-parent homes. These kids are ready and willing to work but we need some help motivating them about school and letting them know we care.
My Project
Our lack of technology is hurting their ability to work at home and at school. We need a true Apple laptop that is compatible with what we are using around the school so they can continue to work here at school and at home.
With the Apple laptop, we will be able to put their work on there and can keep their ability to be mobile for classes and outside meetings.
Several lesson plans are ISO compatible they will need this laptop for. They can use this laptop to now log onto their zoom meetings and when they return to allow them the greater technology laptops to enhance their learning.
Give these kids what they deserve, a real functional laptop they can use in college. Help us give them what everyone else is using.
