My Project
My Title I school consists of 95% minority students. The classroom library that I inherited was minimal and it has taken me years to slowly build it up but it is still lacking recent books with minority characters.
Help me give my students books that they can relate to and enjoy!
Reluctant readers many times just need to find a book that interests them. Having access to books with characters that look like them and have similar struggles will help engage students.
Please consider donating to my classroom library so my students have books they feel like are specifically for them.
