This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Who couldn't benefit from a break now and then? My students are in a large urban school district in which our classes are divided by behavioral and emotional needs. I have a group of 10 boys who need a break. Sometimes teaching grade level standards to this population can be very trying. I find that they can be motivated and eager to try new things by providing a choice of snacks. Many people enjoy eating popcorn while watching a good movie. This project will help my students enjoy snacks while listening to a great novel!
