My Students

I'm constantly searching for ways to enhance my lessons and make them more engaging for students. A tablet computer will give me the ability to bring countless resources to a students desk, and give me the opportunity to quickly explore the "what if?" questions that my students constantly ask.

My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds.

They bring a variety of experiences, cultures, and opinions with them to the classroom. They are excited about learning. They love to explore the past. They aren't afraid to challenge one and other. They are caring considerate classmates. The middle school I work at is filled with caring, committed, strong teachers. The culture of the school is very positive, academically focused, and high performing.

My Project

With the donation of a tablet computer I will be able to develop and deliver engaging, stimulating, and challenging curriculum for my students. I will be able to enhance my lessons. I will be able to deliver engaging visuals, compelling literature, and strong research to the hands of my students. Students will have access to power-points, the Internet, web based research, videos, photos, and a wide variety of primary and secondary sources. Students will be able to better connect with the curriculum, and have greater academic success.

Technology is a tool that our students deserve.

They deserve to be presented the most engaging and challenging curriculum that a teacher can deliver. By donating technology to my class you will be giving my students more opportunities to learn and succeed.
