Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are from a diverse community and they are unique, humble, affectionate and warm.
The particularity of my students is that all of them struggle with speech and language delays that restrain them to learn sounds, words, use words in sentences, express themselves and communicate effectively with others.
The material I chose for this project will give my students the opportunity to support their learning with pictures, visuals, objects, colors, sorting activities and letters to manipulate and develop language comprehension and expressive language skills to succeed in academic activities. Additionally, they will improve their writing and reading skills by developing phonemic and phonological awareness.
