This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students come from many different countries with large dreams. In my class, I want to give students authentic biochemistry lab experience, so they build important skills and knowledge. To do this they need real biochemistry tools.
Help give my students two 100-1000µl micropipettors.
These are measuring tools necessary to add different amounts of liquids when doing biochemical reactions.
Doing authentic biotechnology projects with tools actual biochemists use helps students see themselves as scientists and gives them confidence to pursue advanced degrees. Thank you so much for considering supporting this project!
