My Project
We are requesting items that will help our school have more resources for our students social emotional development. We are a low income community with a high population of families in temporary housing. We work with students who need support beyond the math and english lessons. We have students processing parental loss, housing crisis and processing migrating to a new community. By helping build our SEL toolkit you are helping supporting the entire school and generations of new students.
For our students to grow academically we must support the whole student.
Helping student process the trauma and challenges they face helps them move to a brighter future.
