Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our self-contained special education classroom is in need of iPads to support students in accessing and engaging with their alternative curriculum. The goal of this project is to provide each student with an individual learning tool tailored to meet their unique educational needs. While each student presents with different learning differences, they share a commonality in the meaningful progress they make when equipped with the appropriate technology. iPads have proven to be effective tools for communication, helping students express their wants and needs, and have contributed to measurable growth toward their individualized education goals.
