Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are starting their first year of school with me. It is my job to help create experiences that will shape and build their minds moving forward. Though these things may seem to be mere toys, these could fire the spark that helps create a biologist, a zoologist, a doctor.
I hope that these items will help to inspire and motivate my students to become a part of the STEM community which desperately needs people from different socio and cultural backgrounds to help improve equity in math and sciences.
