My Project

Music is a universal language and for many of my students, it's the one they feel most fluent in. With the addition of a classroom piano and xylophone, I want to open doors to musical discovery, creativity, and self-expression. These instruments will serve as more than just tools; they’ll be voices for students who may not always feel heard in traditional academic spaces. Whether it's the gentle rhythm of the xylophone or the powerful resonance of the piano, each note played will build confidence, coordination, and a deeper connection to learning.

Every child deserves the chance to hear themselves in harmony.

Many of my students face daily challenges both in and out of school, yet they show up with resilience, humor, and heart. They are curious, vibrant learners who light up when introduced to new forms of expression. My goal is to use these instruments to foster joy, focus, and emotional well-being while also teaching fundamental music theory, teamwork, and motor skills. Music will not just enrich their summer, it will help them discover that they are the music.
