My Students
Twenty-first century learners are technologically savvy; especially my fifth graders. These kids are ready for hands-on learning through exploration, discussion, and collaboration.
COVID has thrown a wrench in education.
The students are resilient and will persevere. I would love to offer them as much support and good memories as I can for this difficult school year.

I am respectfully and humbly requesting funding for the follow items.
Every student needs to learn to lean on their own understanding.
That is why I am requesting funding for privacy folders. These folders are useful to encourage students to rely on their own knowledge and not peek at their neighbors. Privacy folders also help students that have a difficult time focusing. The folders remove classroom distractions.
I am also requesting funding for math manipulatives. These magnetic manipulatives will greatly help students with the concept of percentages and fractions. Visual learners will be better equipped to grow their math skills.
