My Students
My students are a bright group of English Language Learners. Last year I wrote a project call “Food for Fuel”. In that project I asked for snacks and cleaning supplies for the school year 2017-18. My students enjoyed the healthy snacks that gave their brain the fuel it needed.
My students have the challenge of learning a new language and culture.
I want to help them meet that challenge by providing food for their brains to give them the energy to think.
My Project
My students need healthy snacks like, Whole Wheat Fig Bar, Gold Fish, Fruit Snacks, All Natural Nut Blends, Energy Bars, to help them concentrate and learn. The snacks in my project will be used to educate my students on what makes a snack healthy. We will read the labels to see what ingredients are in our snacks and compare them to the foods they currently eat for snacks.
My project is to have healthy snacks available to my students all year long.
The snacks will be food they like and it will supply them with energy they need to think. Many of the students come to school when the bell rings so they don’t have time for breakfast and they need a snack just to get through the morning.
