This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We're moving on up, with our reading. We're going to get new technology!
I teach 18 bilingual kids in a low-income school in North Texas.
My kids are eager to learn and read all the time. They come to school eager to learn everyday and their love for reading is incredible. My kids are learning all they need to learn at school and a new language as well.
My Project
That said, they are up for the challenge every single day. They are always looking for those extra minutes to read books. They keep a bag of books inside their desk and they're are so eager to change out them out twice a week. I love seeing their love for reading and I hope they will continue their love for literature.
And so you could give them the best of both worlds, technology for their reading.
With these e-readers, they will be able to enjoy reading books while at the same time enjoy the wonderful world of technology that this new and young generation seems to love!
