My Project
Organizational skills are just one of the many foundational skills students learn when they come to kindergarten. These storage cubbies will provide a designated place for my kindergarteners to store their school supplies and personal belongings. Not every classroom comes equipped with built in shelves or cubbies, and my classroom this year is lacking this crucial furniture.
The basic skill of managing their supplies is so important for students to learn as they begin their school experience.
Learning responsibility and organizational skills will help them be successful at school and will carry with them through their future endeavors. Students at my school come from a variety of backgrounds and some have diverse needs and abilities. These shelves will help give them a consistent place to store their items. My students will need a place to store their workbooks, writing journals, library books, and other supplies and personal belongings. With your help, I can give my students each their own space to keep their items. I am very appreciative of any help towards completing this project.
