My Students
Our school is located in an urban setting and is very diverse. From ethnic to family to economic diversity, we celebrate everyone! Our school is an inclusive school which means every class has students with special needs. We teach a peaceful approach to learning together. I teach lovely little learners.
The first graders I teach are so full of love.
Working at our school for close to two decades has been a gift. Our school community is full of love and support.
My Project
A classroom library isn't complete without interesting and fascinating non fiction books.
Children love to learn about the world they live in.
What better way then through the National Geographic Face to Face edition. Think Planet Earth in a book. Close up pictures and information about the worlds most wonderful creatures.
Another important book set is the National Geographic Little Kids First Book series. Books about places in the world, celebrations around the world and people who live in the world. There are close to 30 books in this project and they all look so interesting. They are all hardcover so that children can enjoy them for many years.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
