Girls Mentoring: Joint Endeavors for Welfare Education and Life Skills

My Project

I am requesting your support for our school mentoring program, known as "Jewels Mentoring”, which is dedicated to guiding and empowering girls as they navigate the challenges of adolescence and young adulthood. These formative years are crucial in shaping their future and ensuring they have the tools and support needed to succeed. The girls will use a budget planner to keep track of their finances. The Cricut and heat press will be used for creative expression and enrichment, to develop their skills in creating designs, which they can use to start their own business in the future. The mannequin heads and nail sets will be used so they can learn skills for their own personal upkeep for their social-emotional development, as well as practice skills they can use for future business endeavors in cosmetology.

Jewels Mentoring offers a comprehensive, coordinated, and progressive series of high-quality activities and learning experiences to help girls achieve social, emotional, and physical well-being for lifelong success.

The Need: Many girls experience a decline in self-esteem and emotional well-being during this time during their adolescent and young adult years. Jewels Mentoring aims to provide a nurturing and supportive environment where young ladies feel accepted and emerge as vibrant, confident, and assured young individuals.

Your contribution will enable us to continue offering a diverse range of activities, including creative expression, skill development, community service, team-building, discussions with career professionals, and enrichment activities. These experiences help our girls build self-confidence, analyze their strengths and weaknesses, set personal and vocational goals, and ultimately pursue and achieve those goals.

Your generosity will directly impact the success and well-being of the girls in our community, helping them become future leaders and positive contributors to society. Together, we can empower our girls to become the confident and resilient leaders of tomorrow!
