Girls Innovating Change

Help me give my students 10th Generation Apple IPad and Ozobot Evo Entry Kit to follow in Gitanjali Rao's innovative footsteps for Women in History Month.

My Project

In celebration of International Women's Day, I would like my students to celebrate and learn about the young innovator Gitanjali Rao and her incredible achievements. My students will use the iPad, Evo and the Ozobot Blockly to come up with their own innovative ideas, showing that they are NEVER to young to make a difference. My students will be able to build programs in the Ozobot Blockly using the iPad and blocks from the categories: Loops, Sounds and Timing, Movements and Light Effects.

Gitanjali Rao is an engineer who is creating change and solving global problems with her innovations.

At a very young age, she felt inspired to use technology and science to make a positive on the world and recognized on the Forbes 30 under 30, honored as TIME's Kid of the Year, and has developed 7 different innovations that help people globally. Learning about her inspiring journey, will allow my students to create an Ozobot Blockly program with the assistance of the iPad to follow in her footsteps.
