This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project seeks to fund an upcoming girls group with middle school students. The group will support girls embracing their mental health, building body positivity, learning about healthy relationships, building coping skill sets and learning from their peers. This group will allow our young ladies to have opportunities to embrace themselves in practical ways and prioritize mental wellness in their lives. Middle school can be a challenging time for many students, this group aims at supporting them and building life long habits of loving themselves and putting their mental wellness first.
