This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a lively and inquisitive bunch that show up to class eager to learn, despite the challenges they are faced with both in and out of the classroom. My students have a wide variety of learning styles and levels, all of which deserve the BEST education possible. Every student in my classroom is unique and everyone in the room respects each other. I care about my students and they know it!

My goal, as a bilingual teacher, is to encourage my students to love learning and to develop lifelong independent learners.

I especially love that they try their BEST on everything that comes their way! They love to read and enjoy hands-on activities. They are great helpers and I know I can count on them. Every day​, I make sure to instill good qualities that will make them amazing citizens.

My Project

I want to provide my students with the skills and knowledge they need to be successful innovators, thinkers, and problem solvers. The Sphero Educational Robot I am requesting will allow my students to build on life and academic skills. We will start small and then I will ask students to add their own ideas. Learning will be disguised with fun!

The STEAM skills my students gain will help prepare them for the future!

I am excited to integrate technology into my lessons. I believe this is our way through to students and will help build up their self esteem. They will be able to see a side of themselves they've never seen! Technology is the future, and my students are an amazing group who deserve new ways to learn and engage them in their studies while learning code at the same time. Our time is now! Please help us get a Sphero Educational Robot and a carrying case into our classroom for the new school year!
