This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our wish list includes inspiring girl empowerment books and materials to make bracelet with empowering words. These bracelets will be a daily reminder of courage, confidence, and self-worth. It will allow for the girls to continue to lift themselves up in a world that will put obstacles in their way just because of their gender.

Help us empower/nurture future generations of strong, confident girls through powerful books and creativity.

My girls are so awesome and deserving of a world that allows for them to explore who they aspire to be. They continue to look for guidance on identity and inner strength which is what I plan to build with the books included. We need to bring a sisterhood to build a sense of community and nurture their dreams.
