My Project

You really can teach an old dog new tricks! After being in the classroom for almost 20 years, I decided to get my Masters Degree and an endorsement to go along with it. I have been humbled at how much I still have to learn, specifically about our gifted and twice exceptional students.

Having just completed my High Ability Learning Endorsement, I am excited to expand what I have learned and help my gifted students get more out of their day to day learning.

With these specific professional development books, I will be able to not only help myself be a better teacher, but share the learnings with my building teachers and administration. My students will benefit by having differentiated curriculum, Math and Science projects for Gifted learners and unique grouping options for their fast paced learning.

I am looking forward to engaging my students in higher level thinking and giving them truly gifted learning opportunities every day.
