Attention and focus are recently becoming more and more of a need for students. I am noticing many times these struggles go hand-in-hand with the minds of my gifted learners.
Flexible seating will provide movement opportunities while leaving student hands and minds free to focus.
Research supports the idea that students are able to pay attention and focus even more if their bodies are able to move throughout the day.
Many gifted students are twice exceptional. Often times their exceptionalities include ADHD. The use of bouncy ball seating would provide these students with a tool to enable better attention and the ability to focus on challenging tasks.
