Focus and intensify our learning through the use of microscopes!
I teach first through fifth grade gifted students at a public school in Georgia.
They are so enthusiastic about learning. My students are very inquisitive and love to learn and explore. They really enjoy hands on learning and project based learning.
My Project
My students will be actively involved in learning as they have a 'birds eye view' through the use of a microscope. They will be able to use the hand held portable microscope to observe objects in the classroom, playground, field trips, and our outdoor classroom. As the students progress through the grades they will continue to have access to the equipment during our daily workshop time. We will be able to look closely at plants and animals on both land and sea that we study throughout our units.
I hope to foster a love of learning that will last a lifetime by enhancing my lessons with hands on materials.
I want to give children an exciting environment to work in that will encourage curiosity and creativity in the fields of science and math.
