Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will serve kindergarten through fifth grade gifted students, at two different schools in our district. We are in need of three spheros.
Students need more opportunities to learn computer science.
Coding with spheros will give students a hands-on opportunity to learn how to create algorithms to program a robot (the sphero).
Coding with a sphero will also help students understand geometry and angled turns. Students will also learn about physics: friction, speed, & duration. They will learn how to debug their algorithms. Plus, IT'LL BE FUN and EXCITING!
