This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a teacher in the Arlington ISD and I work solely with gifted and talented students ranging from 1st - 6th grade. These students are required to do a Texas Performance Standards Project that they will present at their GT Showcase later in the school year. My students have very little supplies(paint, craft sticks, foam balls, yarn, glue sticks, etc.) to work with and at times this limits their creativity.

Help my students show what they have learned through their project research and creative thinking which allows them the opportunity to practice their presentation skills in front of parents, students, and faculty.
