My Project
The CAG (California Association for the Gifted) Virtual Summer Institute offers an invaluable opportunity for professional growth through dynamic sessions focused on the latest research, strategies, and best practices in gifted education. Participating in this institute will deepen my understanding of how to differentiate instruction, foster critical and creative thinking, and support the unique social-emotional needs of gifted learners. I will gain practical tools and resources that I can immediately apply in my classroom to create more engaging, challenging, and inclusive learning experiences.
Professionally, I envision growing as a more reflective and responsive educator, capable of designing instruction that pushes all students—especially gifted and advanced learners—to reach their full potential.
I plan to implement new strategies for inquiry-based learning, curriculum compacting, and flexible grouping to better support student voice, choice, and depth of understanding.
As a result, my students will benefit from a more enriched, student-centered learning environment that not only challenges them academically but also nurtures their curiosity, motivation, and confidence. By applying what I’ve learned, I aim to create a classroom where all learners are empowered to thrive and grow.
