This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our 1st-grade team is looking to enhance our reading intervention activities for our on-level and higher readers. It can be hard to keep them engaged because they can read. Having them study chapter books is a great way to bring a love of reading them. With this project, each student will have a book in their hands and activities to go with the books from Teachers Pay Teachers. This will help students that can read recall what they can read and begin to transition to reading to learn. Getting our students ready for the future.
