My students need basic supplies (erasers, a sharpener, a stapler and a few Mo Willems books) to update our classroom.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Tomao's classroom raised $258

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We don't have a classroom sharpener and the children spend too much time going from student to student to borrow sharpeners. They sharpen and sharpen but these cheap sharpeners just break the pencils down until they're nothing but inch long stubs.
My school is Title I with 98% of our students receiving free lunch and 19% are English Language Learners and high class size.
Despite this, our students are highly motivated and intelligent. They love author Mo Willems and they love to help out in the classroom.
My Project
We need basic supplies like a sharpener and a stapler so we can keep our classroom organized. Erasers are there because we learn from our mistakes. We need pencil grips because we're tired of Mrs. Tomao having to hold our hands to correct our writing. How embarrassing is that? We also have a few Mo Willems's books thrown in there because hey, kids gotta read!
A sharp pencil makes for a sharp student!
We can use these materials over and over again. Books, erasers, sharpener, and stapler: these materials will be able to be used for our class and future classes for years to come!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
