My Project
Do you remember how you felt when you were given a blank piece of paper and told to write about either something specific, or about anything you wanted to write about? Both can be overwhelming to young budding writers. The writing journals in this project are set up to support interest and success for first graders!
My class is filled with enthusiastic 5, 6, and 7 year olds who are looking forward to their first grade year and the opportunity to build on the foundations of writing they received in kindergarten.
These colorful and fun-to-use Writing Prompts Journals will give the students not only an interesting pre-printed topic to write about, they will also provide them with a space for pre-writing, word banks, and a space to illustrate! The Tap & Write dry erase flip books will provide an engaging way to practice new spelling skills. In addition, the rainbow edged see-through wall pockets will be ready to display their independent writing for all to see, read, and enjoy. Doesn't that sound like the "write start" to a new school year?
