My Project
Tripods are a necessary piece of equipment in my classroom, especially in the film and media programs. In the Broadcast Media course, students brainstorm and research topics that are newsworthy and brings them to light through the form of a news package. Students go through the news package process by interviewing people, putting a story together with VoiceOver and soundbites, and editing the package with b-roll footage.
The requested equipment will allow students to enhance their news packages with providing stability and flexibility when filming interviews and b-roll.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, students are empowered to extend their learnings outside the physical classroom walls by transforming challenges into opportunities through creative and innovative solutions.
