Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are very enthusiastic learners. They need the appropriate materials to express themselves and be successful in the classroom. I want to provide them with the necessary tools to be successful in their learning.
My students attend school in the inner city amidst an industrial neighborhood where poverty, gang violence, and dropout rates are prevalent.
Although some of my students face hardships, they come to class with a great attitude and an excitement to learn and express themselves daily.
My Project
I’m requesting whiteboard markers to use with whiteboards they currently own to keep them engaged with activities throughout the day. The paper and pencils for free writing time. The book buddy bags will be used to take books home and to have them in a safe place. The folders and cubby organizers will be used to keep their daily materials organized and accessible.
I have requested materials that will help my students organize themselves and have the necessary materials throughout the day.
By having the right materials accessible they will be more successful during their learning time.
