My students need art supplies, like paint, brushes, a 3-Way Tabletop Easel and more to supplement education.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. W.'s classroom raised $188

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Have you ever learned something better by seeing it through art? I have, and our kids can....but not here, because this year our art teachers were not rehired. Our kids have NO ART! Providing funding for this project would mean bringing art back to our school!
I teach grades 2-6th high-need, low-income students in a large urban public school district in New Jersey.
Our students are primarily Hispanic and include a high number of special education students. More than 85% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. This year we are struggling more than ever as cuts have been made and we no longer have art, music, world language, or library teachers in our school.
My Project
Because of these deep cuts I was hoping to bring a bit of art to my classroom, but I need to add art supplies to our collection. As a result I am requesting 1 easel, paper, paints, and brushes to complete art related projects in our classroom.
Our children learn so much through art. Now that it has been cut from their schedules the only way they can get art is through classroom applications. I would love to do more projects in our class but we'll need more supplies. Please help bring art back for our students.
My students need paint, easels and paper to supplement art education which was cut from our budget this year.
Please support art education for our students - it is so important to the learning process!
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
