Help me give my students access to differentiated materials and resources for my students in order to help them address the learning loss that was encountered over the past year and a half.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are extremely special young scholars. They come from some of the toughest streets in Brooklyn. Even with the challenges they have to deal with outside of school on a daily basis, they still manage to come into school with loving smiles and open hearts. They have embraced our school's five core values, safety, persistence, attitude, respect, and community (SPARC). They work extremely hard to earn good grades. I do my best to provide them with as many hands-on opportunities as I can to learn new concepts and they thrive when these opportunities are presented. They are eager to learn and they are eager to see their peers learn. The passion my students demonstrate on a daily basis in the face of adversity really serves as an inspiration to myself and my colleagues.
I really want to find ways to help keep them engaged and motivated during these trying educational times and I want to find as many resources as possible to help address the learning loss that has occurred over the past year and a half.
My Project
I work with students with disabilities that really benefit from visual models, hands-on activities, and differentiated work and resources. This gift card would help me to purchase materials from expert teachers across content areas to best support my students in the classroom. Having access to Teachers Pay Teachers materials will allow me to offer my students multiple resources in all different formats to best meet their learning needs and to best support their specific learning styles. Students will benefit from having a wide range of resources and activities to engage with and to help them fill in some of the learning gaps that were acquired over the past year and a half.
