Help me give my students books, paper, and games for a chance at learning English and feeling included in their learning.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The specific items I am requesting will make a difference to my English language learners by providing opportunities to read independently and make connections to their learning of English. These books I have requested will help them to feel included in the learning process, without them feeling isolated and different. The books, games, and paper will be used for independent reading and journal writing activities.
These students are special because they are recent arrivals from Venezuela and Colombia who have the drive to navigate and survive in their new environment.
They know that this city is difficult and many people do not want them here. Their pursuit of success is inspiring to the other students in class.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
