Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with a large, culturally and linguistically diverse group of amazing learners, which includes TK-2nd grade levels. Our classroom environment is warm, welcoming, and student-friendly. My students are an amazing group of individuals with various abilities. Our classroom is full of students who are ready to learn and put forth great effort.

Hunger can be distracting, making it harder for students to concentrate and learn effectively.

These snacks will provide the energy they need to remain focus on their learning. I would like to acknowledge students effort, kindness, or improvement, because it motivates students to keep those behaviors going. A personal note will show students that I notice them as individuals. A little encouragement can mean more than we realize something like "I believe in you!" can help them push through. The speaker will be used to softly play classical music in the background, creating a calm and focused atmosphere as my students work on their assignments.
