This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am beginning to prepare my high school students for the 2025-2026 Science Olympiad competitions, which require extensive study materials and hands-on preparation. One of the biggest challenges I am facing is the lack of access to a color printer at our school. Many Science Olympiad events, such as Entomology, Ecology, and Fossils, require students to study detailed, full-color diagrams and images, which are essential for their understanding and retention of the material. Additionally, I plan to print student certificates and accomplishments on thick paper so they can create a professional portfolio showcasing their achievements.

This portfolio will be highly valuable when they apply to universities, as it will highlight their dedication and success in STEM fields.
