Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With a new school year, comes the need for new supplies. Being that we are at a Title I school, many of our families cannot supply all of the necessary items that we will need to support them in the classroom. With your help, I can alleviate some of that burden and concern. Help us start our new school year off in the best way, by making sure they have all the things they will need to be the best learners. From pencils, glue sticks, folders, composition notebooks, and anchor chart paper and markers; these materials will truly make an impact on my students. These are materials that we use everyday and can often go through quickly in a school year.
By making sure all of my students have access to the same supplies, I can provide an equitable learning experience for them in my classroom.
With these everyday supplies we will have everything we need to jump straight in learning and making memories together in our classroom family. From pencils to help us learn to write, scissors and glue to help us create our interactive reading and language notebooks. Folders to help keep their work coming to and from home everyday. This project will help my students and their families feel the comfort of knowing that we will everything we need to have a great year in first grade.
