My students need science materials for hands-on learning and centers.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Youel's classroom raised $255
This project is fully funded
My Students
We want to get our hands dirty! Dirty, that is, with science knowledge and experience! Learning about erosion, fossils, and magnets this year gives us opportunities for plenty of down and dirty learning!
Our school is located in a small, rural community where students are more familiar with farms and forests than city streets and sidewalks!
Our learning tends to be more hands-on as many of my students have special needs this school year. However, that doesn't stop the learning and fun we have in our classroom!
My Project
We are requesting a science photo book set that will appeal visually to my students, as well as covering the topics of erosion and fossils! We have also requested a magnetic mirror that will help students simulate a magnetic field. Finally, an awesome resource - a Velcro pocket chart that students can use to create life cycles of a frog, butterfly, and plant, as well as learning sight words to go along with this unit. Wow!
Please help our class complete this project and give us these much needed resources which will help my students get our hands "dirty" as we play and learn!
