This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school is a community in which scholars, families, and educators support, challenge, and celebrate one another’s brilliance and beauty. We believe in the power and potential of all people, with connectivity being the heart of our work. We embrace who we are, advocate for what we need, and commit to leading with equity and social justice in mind. Today is where we are, and there is no limit to where we will be tomorrow.
My goal is to create a comfortable environment where my students feel safe taking risks and becoming their best selves!
My students have already shown me that they are a joyful and compassionate community focused on justice and growth. I cannot wait to be part of it and see what we can grow to become together!
