Here at our school, we definitely have the best students! Our amazing kiddos have a variety of special needs from physical, mental, and academic challenges they face each day. They require help with social-emotional needs and physical exercise needs to keep their minds and bodies healthy.
My Project
So far our classroom has been blessed by what has been donated! We have incorporated Yoga and Mindfulness each day and it has definitely caused a change in how my students think of themselves and has guided them to learn to be aware of their surroundings. My hope is to continue to add to their social-emotional and physical needs. I have noticed an improvement in academics and behaviors by implementing Yoga, Mindfulness, and physical exercise. The items I am requesting will help us continue to provide the tools we need for our students to continue the positive growths we are seeing.
