My Project
I want to help my students grow their love of reading! I am always looking for ways to provide my students with great reading opportunities to motivate them and become life long readers. Since COVID many students are below their reading skills.
Reading takes us on new and exciting adventures and I want to give my students that opportunity.
More importantly, I would like their new love of reading to continue at home and not just stay in the classroom. The amount of reading done outside of school increases students growth in vocabulary, reading comprehension, verbal fluency and general information. As reading skills improve, students are better prepared to comprehend other classroom reading materials and subjects. It also gives the student to relax and imagine themselves on a new adventure.
