My Project
This project focuses solely on beginning to rebuild my 4th-grade classroom library. It's been a goal of mine to rebuild the classroom library I inherited a few years ago as it is very outdated. I've bought a bunch of books out of pocket and have recently realized how many new books are needed to get my 4th-grade students excited to read every day.
4th graders are unique in the fact that this is usually the age/grade they begin to fall in love with books.
I want to make sure that I am providing them with books they find interesting and will get them excited to read even more. The books that are part of this project are just a few that my students recommended I buy last year, so I know the incoming 4th graders will enjoy them as well.
