This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are the future. They are brilliant leaders and loyal citizens of their school community. Each and every day they come in giving 100%. Despite the many adverse experiences in their life they are eager, willing, and ready to learn. Within our small classroom community we are a diverse population with little to lose and much to prove. Help us out!
We are a model school community and classroom within our school.
This past year, my students won first place in the community poetry slam, surpassed all the goals they set for themselves, and that I set for them. They have been so amazing and deserve a classroom that reflects the same.
My Project
These headphones will ensure that my students are able to focus within the classroom. All of our students set goals each day and are excited to meet those goals. My students are directed in a self learning cycle and they are watching videos online, taking notes, and assessments.
It is important for them to be able to zone in on only their work and I know it will be possible with these headphones!
As we continue to transition through the age of technology, it is important that I prepare my students to be divergent thinkers and leaders. Using these headphones will also help to increase their self mangagment, especially with my struggling learners.
