My Project

I am requesting a class set of method books for my classroom so that each student in orchestra can have the resources they need for success. Method books are a vital part of performance for beginner strings students and help to improve posture, technique, and prevent injury. Getting in Gear was created by three string players who are also all music teachers and composers. This book is unique in that it was created by teachers currently in the classroom.

I am currently in the process of growing my orchestra program and making sure students have the resources they need is a vital part of the orchestra experience!

Students have lots of opportunity to perform in the area; some students have been playing for up to five years and some students started this year!
