Getting Hooked on a Series

Help me give my students high-quality books to read and enjoy. My students are longing to get "hooked" on new book series, such as Dragonbreath and The Flying Beaver Brothers.

My Project

These books will help my students find a new series to love and enjoy. My students are begging for a new book series to read. I find that my students will read so much more when they can find books that are apart of a larger series. Once my students read the first book, they get hooked and want to read all of the following books in that series. With the books I have requested, I will be able to expand my classroom library to provide my students with a variety of high-interest and developmentally appropriate books. All of the books I have selected are a part of a series. This means my students will have multiple books to read that follow predictable characters in their engaging adventures. I have a variety of learners in my classroom, which can make it hard to provide enough books for them all to enjoy. The materials selected in this project are on a variety of reading levels as well as on a variety of interest levels. This will help accommodate many of the needs of my students.

All of the book sets selected are a part of a larger series that will get my readers hooked and wanting to read more.

It is hard to find high quality story lines that the students want to read. In this project, I have been able to select many new and exciting book series for my students to enjoy. I know my classroom of learners will love these books for years to come.
